I agree that the lyrical side of TKOL is a bit of a draw back at time. Little By Little in mind.

Pretty nice remix of Little By Little here

I can't escape this band. I still end up listening to them in the middle of a Dave Brubeck session. That's a great tune in the link by the way.

Threw OK Computer on loop when I went to sleep lastnight. Hard to beat.

What did that line make you assume? I can't imagine one line can really display the entire aim of a band.

Btw, Codex is one of my new favorite songs by Radiohead and in general; it's so breathtakingly beautiful. It is reminiscent of Pyramid Song and Videotape for sure, but i think they pull it off in a unique way. Give Up the Ghost is really good too, definitely a newer sound for them that i'm glad they tried. The rest of the album i sounding Ok, definitely liking it more than In Rainbows, but honestly both these albums need more of my attention in their entirety.

That was sick tbh. So good.

Oops, sorry, you misunderstood me. I meant more that they'd moved away from the wittier OK Computer lyrics and guitar thrashing into something that (at the time) sounded quite dull and bland to me. Of course, now I possibly like In Rainbows more than OK Computer.

OK Computer has never been my favorite, I'd probably even take the Bends over it. But that's just me. I see why that could disappoint you though, but by In Rainbows guitar thrashing was definitely extinct (except for on HTTT). The lyrics may have moved away from wittiness, but they started shooting for abstract imagery/storytelling by the time In Rainbows had dropped (at least, that's how i'd describe it). So all in all, yes, i could see why someone who was a fan of OKC being extremely disappointed upon listening to In Rainbows. But they're both a couple of the albums i listen to the least of. Karma Police is a favorite (along with Videotape), Paranoid Android is a great song, and 15 step is a lot of fun; however, both the albums don't hold my attention like HTTT or Amnesiac do. King of Limbs has even had more sway over me than IR.

Speaking of OKC and In Rainbows, have y'all heard about that theory that the latter was a follow up album to the former and that each track compliments the one before it (ie., Airbag to 15 Step to Paranoid Android, etc.)? It didn't click with me, but did you guys find any cohesion there?

I'm familiar with that easter egg, yeah. I definitely noticed some correlation between Let Down and All I Need, but none of the other stuff. Then again, I only tried it once, and I was walking on a reasonably busy road at the time.

I tried listening to the two alternated, and I don't remember being impressed. I believe I stopped a little shy of halfway because I'd rather listen to the albums in their original contexts.
