They are a bit snobby. They never come to our Big Day Out festivals.

Aww. I don't know if it's snobbishness, per say. I feel like they're just weird and what to play predominately for their legitimate fans. I dunno. I just feel like I kind of get what they're going for.

God help me if I'm getting Thom Yorke on some level.

I'd be slightly worried if I started to understand Thom Yorke. Although being able to get what the hell Lotus Flower's video was meant to be about would be pretty cool.

I get the feeling they like playing obscurely. Like playing at a big festival like ours would be comparing them to so many different genres and bands that can range in quality. I see what you're saying but they need to get their asses over to NZ because I'm in the city where they'd most likely play now.

There is hope, don't worry. The fact that they played at V (which for the non-Brits is a festival that's normally filled with artists like Katy Perry and Pixie Lott) means that they're probably not quite as hipster about venues as they like people to believe.

I can see that to a certain extent, but I feel like Thom Yorke has issue with playing big stages and the expectations put upon him from those. He really seems to have some sort of anxiety issues.

He does need to get his ass over there, though. I can totally see where you're coming from there.

Hmmm he's a strange man. I just realised I still haven't got a hard copy of two of Radiohead's albums. How horrid.

Mykonos 09-18-2011 04:13 AM

In Rainbows and TKOL by any chance? I really want to get a vinyl copy of In Rainbows, so if I lived anywhere near you I'd send you my CD copy.

Scarlett O'Hara 09-18-2011 04:17 AM

Pablo Honey and Amnesiac haha. Should I get them? I'm an avid fan so I probably will.

Howard the Duck 09-18-2011 04:19 AM

the only soft copy of Radiohead I have is Hail To The Thief
