Review: The Best Of Radiohead
By Mirror.co.uk 29/05/2008 Radiohead: The best of Radiohead The revolution promised by last year’s pay-what-you-like internet release In Rainbows has been postponed. Radiohead are back on the promotional trail, selling that album in shops. They are also complaining that their old record company has released this handsomely packaged compilation – a nice primer for latecomers. Maybe their unwanted royalties will be donated to charity. May I suggest the Home For Over-Serious Rockstars Learning To Be Happy? Thought not. :thumb: |
I don't really blame them for not being happy about it. I mean if I left a record label then did something like In Rainbows them turning around and releasing a Best Of would piss me off.

Hail TO The Thief would be my fave, followed closely by Kid A.

My apologies if this has been posted. If it hasn't...I cannot wait for this firestorm. |
Well apart from the american vocals its not THAT different, so most fans would be bitching just for the sake i guess.

i hate Panic with a passion, and hated them before the radiohead cover but this is just awful... only a band as bad as Panic! at the Disco could take such a wonderful song and make it sound like it should be played at a circus for the mentally handicapped

Radiohead is garbage. After Pablo Honey it was all pretentious gargle. I know many people love them, but many people also love Laguna Beach and The Hills.

Just because they did something different and inventive doesn't make it pretentious garbage. Did Pink Floyd make pretentious garbage too? |
