Isn't it a good thing for them not to be played on TV channels like FUSE and MTV? I think it's a great thing. And I don't thinkl Radiohead is "radio material" compared to some of the stuff they play on there....I mean those things are reserved for American Idol winners and crappy teeny pop.

I was a massive Radiohead fan from like 1997 right through to 2003. I think OK Computer is way better than anything else they ever did. Amnesiac at the time it came out was greeted with overwhelming negativity from both fans (in particular) and critics alike in comparison to Kid A, which was widely seen across the board as being the best album of 2000. This is honestly the first forum I've ever been on where Amnesiac is widely felt to be Radiohead's best album. I think I've gathered this to be the viewpoint of you, Urban, Proggy, Wayfarer and others. I don't object to that perspective at all, I just personally disagree with it and find it very interesting.

Of course Amnesiac is by all accounts very good, however one wants to look at it.

i've been considering tatooing a piece of lyric by radiohead on me, perhaps "immerse your soul in love"

any ideas?

Better still, just don't do it. What if it turns out in a couple years time that you don't even like Radiohead anymore? "Oh no but that's impossible" but you'd be surprised at how things can radically change in your life in ways that you'd NEVER expect. If you don't believe in that possibility, then that is being idiotic. Basically, don't make a foolish mistake.

i thought that out with both my band tattoos, and i figure, it wont happen. BUT if it does i'll get 'sold out' tattooed underneath. bingo bango.
