Smile Songs needed for IB History Final Project

Hello everyone!
I'm a sophomore in HS, and our final project is to choose 5 songs that reflect United States historic themes from 1965-2008. We then have to explicate each song and discuss meanings... lyrics... etc.

I need one song for each theme:
Political, Social, Economic, Scientific, and Religious

An example song that our teacher gave us is something like "Born in the USA" (about Vietnam War)

I really have no idea where to start, so any help is appreciated. Thank you very much!

Help Save the Youth of America - Billy Bragg = Political
Whats Going On - Marvin Gaye = Social

Political = Let Them Eat War - Bad Religion
Social = Best For You - Bad Religion OR A Small Circle Of Friends - Phil Ochs
Economic = That's Progress - Jello Biafra And DOA
Religious = All There is - Bad Religion (Can you tell I like BR? Also, this is my favorite song ever. Its a bit buried in terms of meaning, but I think its about people who pray and spend their time serving god, and is that all there is to this life). Also, their song Skyscraper is excellent for that too.
Scientific = Unacceptable - Bad Religion (Sorry to use BR AGAIN, but that's the only science song I can think of off the top of my head.

I can hook you up with any of these if you want them.

Fortunate Son - CCR and War Pigs - Black Sabbath would work as examples of anti-war songs from the Vietnam era.

For social, many songs by N.W.A, Public Enemy, Grandmaster Flash, and other 80's rap groups would work as examples of protest to violence and discrimination against African Americans. (Fight the Power, The Message, **** tha Police, etc.)

"Chicago" by CSNY is a great one that encompasses many of the elements required for your project.

Thanks everyone. I'm still looking for a good song that deals with United States economics. Any ideas? Thanks.
