Thoughts on Maggs and Trish?

I have been interviewing upcoming artists in small venues and tumbled across Maggs and Trish these past few weeks, they were said to have had some short spurt of fame in the 1990's with their cover hit Rose Garden. They released new material and they think they can chart.

1. Has anyone heard of them before?
2. Is their material really that interesting?
3. Gimmick gone too far or ones to watch?

I don't know how well they can do outside of a pub circuit to be fair, they provide some entertainment but what else is a UK tour actually just too far. Im curious to know what everyones thoughts are on this...
