Mine is Bold as Love done by the Chili peppers. I think fruscainte would put a good spin on it, not to mention there Castles made of Sand cover was great.

Well Found A Job by Talking Heads just came on so I'll say that tune by hmmm seems like RHCP would do a good job of this one.
EDIT : I didn't mean to pick the same band it's just that song sounds so damn funky, so naturally.

Hit The Road Jack (Ray Charles) by The White Stripes, with Meg singing the main part, Jack screaming 'What d'you say???"
It could either be the best thing ever, or the worst thing ever.

The Strokes covering here she comes now by the Velvet Underground would be cool or sister ray, with Julian screaming 'too busy sucking on a ding dong', that would be really cool, i think they could pull it off.

Radiohead doing Tango Whiskeyman by Can

Primal Scream doing All Down The Line by The Rolling Stones

Boredoms doing Lay Down & Die Goodbye by Alice Cooper (or failing that Mogwai)

The Fall doing Lookin For A Kiss by The New York Dolls (They've covered Jetboy but this would be much more fun)

Nick Cave doing Willie The Pimp by Frank Zappa

White Stripes doing Tom Cat by Muddy Waters

And i've always wanted to hear what Aerosmith would sound like doing Summer In The City by The Lovin Spoonful. But it would have to be 70s Aerosmith , not the sucky parody we have now.

I think Acid Mothers Temple could make a stellar version of Pink Floyd's Echoes.
