You could also try G Love and Special Sauce. They are kind of Blues/Hip-Hop/Rock. They've got quite a few songs with harmonica.

Default Need Suggestions Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am trying to create a slideshow for my mother who is currently battling drug addiction. On the slideshow, there are several pictures of she and I together throughout my entire childhood. It lasts about 8 minutes, and I am trying to use the perfect background music. The initial song is The Drugs Don't Work (The Verve version). I need one or two additional songs that would fit the ambience of the video. I would prefer the same feel of the first song. I've been looking for quite some time, and I won't settle for anything that's not absolutely perfect. This video could quite possibly be her saving grace. I'm desperate! Please send any suggestions you may have. If you have any questions that would help feel free to ask! Thanks!

I am a recovered drug addict myself a I would suggest not using any songs with the word drugs or anything about drugs in them as they may be a trigger for her...I would use songs that u and her both liked when u were younger or something.

Default Achtung Baby / Turn On The Bright Lights

I really loved those 2 albums by u2 and interpol and have been searching for similar albums. After reading some post about similar bands to interpol i downloaded
The editors :The Back Room
Joy Division : Substance
Echo & the Bunnymen : Crocodiles
Bauhaus : Mask
Gang of Four : Entertainment
and hopefully i will find those as good as turn on the bright lights or more but now i would like to possibly find some albums similar to U2's Achtung Baby.Anyone have any ideas?

-God, those are two albums that are very hard to match! Both of those are very acomplished albums, with depth, character and good musianship...

What could I suggest as something as good as those...

I guess I could go with a personal suggestion and recommend "After Everything Now This" by the Church, which kinda covers similar themes musically and lyrically to the two albums you mentioned... but you could also go with "Uninvited Like the Clouds" by the same band, which has some similarities to that early nineties era U2 stuff...

Or you could go with anything by the band James - a very U2 - ish sounding band - go with Millionaires or ...Pleased to Meet You for that nineties U2 feel...
