Default recomendations?

i'm not really that into rap and hip hop and i absolutely hate alot of the mainstream stuff but i really want to get more into the genre and learn the cool creative groups out there and get a different musical perspective.
some rap/ hip hop groups that i like are
aceyalone
doseone
clouddead
why?
beastie boys

oh and by the way i realy dont want people to keep telling me to get stuff like public enemy and run dmc i've tried that over and over again and i really just cant get into it.

I want to add Edan and Eyedea.
Also, I'm looking for a new band kind of in the style of Tegan and Sara/Emmy the Great/Tender forever, pop/folk kind of stuff, any recomendations?

Exclamation POST HARDCORE- NOT Indie

I would like to pointt out that Underoaths album "they're only chasing safety" is one of the best purchases i could have ever made in my 19 years of living.

I wanna get some more pumping screamo/posthardcore bands in my list..

Any suggestions ladies and gents
