need some good drum n bass recommendations...what I have thus far...and correct me if I am wrong if one of these artists wouldn't fall underneath drum n bass. Chemical Brothers, Spor, Hive, Pendulum, The Bloody Beetroots, Deadmau5, Massive Attack (pretty sure theyre not DnB), and 65 Days of Static..thanks in advance!

Listened to both these cd's this past week, and realized how much I really enjoyed both.
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA240_.jpg http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA240_.jpg Both these cd's have a similar layout. They both are heavily based in hip hop, but half the songs on both discs are the groups branching out into other genre's like instrumental's, punk, even a choir song at the end of the Len CD. Both keep me riveted until the end just cause they're so eclectic I guess. I just wanted to know if anyone could recommend some similar albums? It's not like nu-metal or rap and rock mixed, or straight up hip-hop like X-Ecutioners or something...its just cd's that are musically all over the place, with hip hop roots. If you've heard these you probably know what I mean. Thx to anyone that replies. :) |

Gonna go check out those others as well, thx for the reply. |
Ozamatli are actually pretty good! I saw them playing at WOMADELAIDE back when I was living in hometown Adelaide! They played a darn nice set with really awesome groove to it... I'm generally not into the musical space they occupy in the world, but they really moved me in this instance!

I'd quite like to get into a bit of Bowie and Cream.
Any songs/albums that are a must hear? I've obviously heard Jean Genie, Space Oddity, Ziggy Stardust. |
