But anyway I have a request I want a band that has the crazy techno-ish rock sound of radiohead... and kinda like broken social scene...

ok i would like to find a new group.
i would like something that can get hard (i.e. strapping young lad lamb of god cannibal corpse and so on) but i dont like it when they are just screaming to be screaming and leaving any sign of musical melody way behind them. i love the hard talented music but 9 times out of ten the only things those bands are doing is screaming. how bout a talented truely hard band with some melody. i love bands like,, dimmu borgir cradle of filth opeth soilwork in flames mushroomhead. suggestions? |

Modern Aternative music of today
Anyone got suggestions for bands i should listen to. I've got a few for you all: Breaking Benjamin, Burn Season, Cold, Course of Nature. It all depend what you like, i'm more into Rock Alternative. If your more into the old songs I suggest The Peace Keepers. You probably know them anywayz

Hmmm....I would say LCD soundsystem, more disco-punk than technoish, but definitely one of the best electronic-rockish bands out there at the moment. |

Im not into any of those bands, I consider them faux-alternative.
Alternative these days that I listen to... Art Brut Deerhunter Deerhoof LCD Soundsystem No Age Jay Reatard Fuck Buttons M.I.A. Abe Vigoda HEALTH of Montreal Magnetic Fields ...are a few of my more contemporary favorites. |
