Some of my favorites:

Labradford, a cosmic post-rock

Pan American, the guy from Labradford, doing something else, more electronic oriented.

Gastr del Sol

The For Carnation, this is Brian McMahan of Slint. I don't know if you listened to it.

Yeah no problems. I can hear it from here.

FFS if you don't know how are we supposed to know? Unless you send everyone a copy.

I reckon one of the songs could be Blackened by Metallica as the CD is burnt and not pristine.

If you want something a little heavier than the usual Post Rock sound then 65daysofstatic are where it's at circa 4 years ago:

Default Help me build a moving playlist please!

My partner and I are about to move to Denver, CO from Lansing, MI. We will be towing a trailer behind us which means we can't go over 55... making this a three day road trip. So I am making a playlist of music that all has to do with moving, or mountains or denver specifically - or even just music that has a sort of.. getting your life together and moving on sort of feel to it.

For example, some of the songs on it currently are

Weight of the World - Chantal Kreviazuk
Keep on Moving Forward - Emma's Revolution
Life is a highway - Rascal Flatts
Baby got going - Liz Phair
Some days you goota dance - Dixie Chicks
We're going to Ibiza - Vengaboys
New Beginning - Tracy Chapman
Changes in lattitudes - Jimmy Buffet
The Rede - Gaia Consort

Music genre doesn't really matter to me - we are pretty eclectic in our tastes - just no rap please.

Here's a few.

B.B. King - I'm Moving On

Canned Heat - On The Road Again

Dave Dudley - Six Days On The Road

The Band - Across The Great Divide

Warren Zevon - Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead

You should use the original "Life Is A Highway" by Tom Cochrane it's much better than the karaoke version you have listed.
