I need some recommendations...
I love remixes, mashups, and just about ANY type of song as long as it sounds good...
Personally, I don't honestly care about electronica or others but I'm posting in electronica because it usually has a MUCH better beat... I'm going to try my best and explain what type of songs I like, but bare with me... Basically, I like songs with a decent amount of melodies going at once (I do not like the ones with just vocal and a guitar or just a drum etc.) and I really like them to actually correlate with each other... In other words, I want the song to sound like someone made sure that every melody seems to work with every other one as opposed to just a bunch of melodies shoved into a song... To name a few songs I personally enjoy... Jupiter Rising - Electropop (Lenny B Radio Mix) -- I only like the radio remix. Daddy Dj - Daddy Dj E-Type - Africa September - Cry For you Boys Noise - My Moon My Man Hopefully there are other people who also have whatever taste for music as I have... (Btw, I'm fairly certain playing in orchestra for a couple years changed my tastes in music... I'm fairly certain it's why I require the melodies to flow well...) Song titles / artists are more than enough for me (I honestly won't use any download links). If more detail, more songs I like, more anything is required please post... (By the way, I don't want just a spout of 80-90 different artists that are kind of decent but not really... People tend to think Quantity is better than quality, but I'm hoping for just a couple songs that are actually ones that flow very well) -- Also, I tend to enjoy much more fast paced songs than slower ones... But, only if it isn't so fast that the melody doesn't get all messed up and jambled together -- Last edited by cpp; 01-11-2009 at 07:56 AM. |

If you really like Snow Patrol, especially their more moving ballady - type stuff, you'd love a couple of my favourite Australian bands, namely Art of Fighting and Gersey - both are well worth checking out for the sheer strength of their material, not only for the link to Snow Patrol -ish balladry...

Okay, so I need new music. I have a lot, but I'm getting bored with it and I want something new. Some of my favorite artists:
Can Spiritualized Hawkwind Foetus ...and so on.
