There's a ton.

Check out American Analog Set, I've been listening to them a lot lately, really good stuff.

If you really like Snow Patrol, especially their more moving ballady - type stuff, you'd love a couple of my favourite Australian bands, namely Art of Fighting and Gersey - both are well worth checking out for the sheer strength of their material, not only for the link to Snow Patrol -ish balladry...

Okay, so I need new music. I have a lot, but I'm getting bored with it and I want something new. Some of my favorite artists:

Can
Spiritualized
Hawkwind
Foetus

...and so on.

A bit vague, I know, but I need some good electronic instrumental music. Something to listen to whenever I'm in that kinda mood apart from Tangerine Dream. Any ideas?

William Orbit's Strange Cargo series
Solaris O.S.T
Vangelis
Solo Tangerine Dream works (Klaus Schulze/Christopher Franke)

Go Krautrock :
Ash Ra Tempel (correct spelling)

I have ton of balearic chillout which incorporates dance which you may or may not like.

Theme From A Summer Place by Percy Faith ... one of the most beautiful pieces of easy listening music you will hear ... it was even number 1 in the US for 6 weeks!
