thanks for the information. Will definitely check out the suggestions.

Another attribute I enjoy in these bands is the mood/atmosphere they surround you in. And how you can feel the ups and downs of the particular tune. Then.. that kind of goes back to the "take you on a ride" feel. -just trying to elaborate, no sure if I was misunderstood-.

Thanks again!

I'm primarily a Pink Floyd/Roger Waters fan, who also enjoys The beetles, The doors, Queen, Echo and the bunnymen. Normally older music, and normally fairly relaxed. I cannot stand today's "hip hop" or "pop" with all the negativity and what feels like forced lyrics.
You're a Roger Waters fan and yet you can't stand "all the negativity" of modern music.

Perhaps I've worded it improperly..

I cannot stand "gangster" crap, mindless swearing and music with vulgar intent.

Question Looking for Insipid Brown

I'm stumped. I'm looking for a cover of Blondie's Heart of Glass and can't find it for love or money.

Insipid Brown - Heart of Glass

Anyone want to help me out? Direct me to a source?

I know it exists. Really.

I know Insipid Brown. They were a group out of Salt Lake, Utah. That Blondie cover is fabulous.

Default I need more music

I really want to find some more bands that sound like Choking Victim, Leftover Crack, Operation Ivy and any not too well known punk or hardcore bands you like. I listen to pretty much all punk and hardcore, haven't found too much yet that I don't like.

A lot, I'm looking for more ska punk bands. I really haven't heard too much but I really like what I've heard. Things like Citizen Fish, Choking Victim, Operation Ivy, even current stuff like Reel Big Fish.
