Default Sounds like Funkadelic?

Does anyone here know of any bands that sound anything at all like Funkadelic, or have that feeling to it? Like that guitar that just bleeds into your fucking heart and rips out your soul?

I dont know why I like music. Sorry for no explanation.

I dig Steel Pulse (Leggobeast is my favorite song by them) and Alanis the most on the list from which ones I have heard. I dig the scientis and clocks by Coldplay, but the last 2 albums of thiers I bought all the songs sounded the same and were very boring.

Yeah, Iv'e heard basically the same sort of things. Steel Pulse is supposed to be pretty tight and coldplay isn't like super mainstream sellouts, but are sort of boring. Thanks a million for the imput though, appreciate it.

I don't suppose anyone could point me towards some surf rock compilations, stuff like Link Wray, Dick Dale and the Lively Ones?
