I remember someone saying "To Here Knows When" sounds like it was recorded underwater, hell you'd be crazy not to think so.

Default From Birth to One Year

I am looking to make a photo slideshow of my baby son from birth to one year, and was hoping for some suggestions for accompanying music. To keep it lively, I am thinking excerpts from various songs with suitable lyrics (will likely include some classical stuff as well). Open to anything. Appreciate your help in advance.

If I was doing the same I'd do "The Idiot Bastard Child" by Frank Zappa... then again, if I had a son he'd probably be in juvy at the age of 13.

Question Could somebody please help me with a song choice?

I've been trying to decide on a song to sing for my solo in my vocals class at school and Yahoo! Answers just isn't doing anything for me in the music department so I thought I'd come talk to the experts.

Here are the options:

If I Die Young by The Band Perry
For the Nights I Can't Remember by Hedley (The only reason this is a consideration is because I already know it so well)
Temporary Home by Carrie Underwood (I hardly know this one at all though)
My Grown Up Christmas List by Kelly Clarkson (This one's a little trickier and I'm not sure if I can hit the higher notes right no because I'm sick)

It has to be ready for the 15th (I know! It's sooo late to be choosing a song) and it's worth 15% of my mark.

I really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Marquee Moon, everyone should own Marquee Moon.
If you wanna stick solely to Rock then Live At Leeds would be my choice.

I have heard that bands like My Bloody Valentine are good. I haven't listened to anything from them, but I would like to know where to start. The whole shoe gaze genre is appealing to me. Any suggestions on what other bands are interesting?
