So you're a massive 80's fan and you don't like Public Enemy?

Yes, I love PE

&: Poor Righteous Teachers,YBT, 3rd bass, Black Sheep, Ice T, Beasties, NWA, A Tribe Called Quest, Eric Sermon, Eric B & Rakim, etc. all of that stuff is tremendous to me, and i listen to alot of it on a weekly basis(along w/other 80s music). I just don't think "current" hip hop stands up to the older stuff, it's all ****ty now. They're more worried about selling Ring Tones, and getting on MTV cribs, than making good music, just my opinion though.

I'm quite sure there's alot of hip hop out there that others dig, that i dislike? and it will continue to go that way. I just dont care for it.

I don't care about quality or anything, my gripe is that people who take pictures at gigs are far too eager to boast about where they've been later on, rather than actually enjoy the damn gig at the time.

There's some great artists there, but it sounds like you're judging recent hip-hop simply by whats in the mainstream.
