#73. Later With Jools Holland.

Even though he has less wit and even less unbridled taste in music than John Peel. Jools and his production team are one of the last few media programmes to champion new music and/or tip their hat to classic or cult bands. Many nights have I sat in front of the box, a little spaced out on a Friday night to be greeted by another superlative and crucially; LIVE performance. Programmes such as this can seperate the wheat from the chaff and inform an audience in 4 chords infinitely better than a 400 word review from the latest 'in' magazine.

Where else would you get Mark E Smith & Robert Plant playing after each other

I think this is my favourite Later performance...
