Bono is a big d!ckwad, but I love putting on some of U2's 1980's albums. I enjoy them a lot. I also find Fat Mike to be an immature, annoying, and rude son of a bitch, but I enjoy quite a few NOFX songs.

#85. That Album That You Did'nt Like On First Listen But It Is Now Played To Death.  Sometimes these are the real beauties in your collection. Usually it is from a genre that you don't listen to or it is an album devoid of hooks and memorable riffs or content. However SOMETHING in the record makes you want to listen to it again...and again....and again...and again. These albums are ridiculously rewarding because each time that you listen to it, you find something new. A sequence of notes that you did'nt hear before. An ambience that was just lost on you. A lyric that fits so snugly into that track's musical theme. Music is a strange beast and it is that unpredictability that keeps my world spinning.

Totally agree with this one.
It always makes me sad when I view threads about big music collections and read that people have recently gone through their collection and deleted/thrown away some albums that they haven't listened to for ages or that they don't like. What a waste! Who's to say you won't find at least one gem in there that you had previously overlooked? We all change, and so do our tastes. One years bad album can be another years anthem...unfortunately, the reverse can also be true

I have never deleted anything from my music collection UNLESS it is badly tagged and I have no way of gaining the correct information. Many bands that I have gone back to a few months later take on a whole new meaning for me.
