I feel strange posting twice in a few minutes in this thread, but yes.

That is embarrassing that you'd hate a good song like that.

Can I buy a pound of swiss, Mr. Cheese factory?

Sorry, but Epic is the cheesiest song I've ever heard.
And not the kind of cheesy that's great because it's so bad... It's just... ugh... especially that voice!

I've always disliked the lyrics to Epic, but the music itself is more than adequate.

You don't get bugged by the sound of cats being stepped on I guess. Those vocals just sound ridiculous. Some of the instrumentation is fine, but that horrible rock&hiphop cheese thing just kills it. And when you have a squealing douche singing the sound of squished rodents and other small animals with that horribly pitched voice, it's just too big of a turnoff.

And yes, the lyrics are obscenely ridiculous.

I don't really enjoy Epic all that much anymore because it's so overplayed and yes dated too, but it is the song that got into FNM and I loved it at the time.

Take it back!

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I can make it sound nicer, but I can't take it back.

It sounds VERY dated now but it was THE song that opened up a whole new world to music lovers to get into Hip Hop etc Even though it's a formulaic track by todays standards it blasted open genres and close minded fan's eyes to music outside of metal.
