1977 by Ash. Essentially a perfect and spectacular album, except for the inexplicable hidden track of them laughing and (supposedly) vomiting.

"behind trees" & "two" are some of the most mindshatteringly good skramz songs,
but "fifty-three seconds" and "four" are absolute shit, although i've heard that they were just joke tracks.

I didnt say lyrically it was bad, there's no such thing with Joy Division but the music it's self just completely turns me off.

Shoot You Down is a great song. Made of Stone is also great, but there are much better songs in that record, such as This is the One, Sugar Spun Sister and Waterfall, to name a few.

I saw the UK LP yesterday going for 50 bucks! It's two vinyls for some reason. Each side only has 2 songs : S

Oh! And I have another contribution: Synchronicity by The Police. I'm thinking of the song "Mother." I really don't know what they were thinking - may someone enlighten me?

Just remembered Leonard Cohen's 'I'm Your Man' falls nicely into the flawed masterpiece category. It'd be a classic if it weren't for Jazz Police which is a bit, y'know, ****
