Mogwai, Mogwai, Mogwai

SIANspheric - it's not exactly all instrumental but definitely in the same vein. very underrated canadian shoegaze from the late 90s.

mogwai is also freaking excellent.

Population Override and Crime Slunk Scene by Buckethead are both excellent guitar based instrumental albums.

God Is An Astronaut are a damn fine Irish Post Rock band.

Ali Farka Toure & Toumani Diabate - In the Heart Of the Moon

One of my favourite instrumental albums from Mali's finest. Definitely worth giving a try, no matter what kind of stuff you usually listen to

The Mix-Up by Beastie Boys was pretty good instrumental music.
