Hi. I am new to this site, and I am in search of new music. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what their favorite instrumental music is. Please let me know, i am currently listening to a lot of Explosions in the Sky and godspeed. Please let me know

SIANspheric - it's not exactly all instrumental but definitely in the same vein. very underrated canadian shoegaze from the late 90s.

mogwai is also freaking excellent.

Population Override and Crime Slunk Scene by Buckethead are both excellent guitar based instrumental albums.

Ali Farka Toure & Toumani Diabate - In the Heart Of the Moon

One of my favourite instrumental albums from Mali's finest. Definitely worth giving a try, no matter what kind of stuff you usually listen to
