Does anyone know of any good instrumental music? You know...stuff like the Final Fantasy or some Movie Soundtracks. I have no idea wat to look for cause i dunno what is good out there.

Also, does anyone have some 80's-90's music that is good. Im into the old stuff. Yeah when music was still legit.(not that all music is bad now but well comercial artists such as Ashlee Simpson or Lindsey Lohan is...@#&*) Yeah to be specific, im looking for something that...hell ill take any suggestions. Deep Forest - world music interesting and different some vocals.

Sercret Garden - soothing soft dreamy ambient sounds

Mannheim Steamroller - light airy wonderful music unique sounding.

Glass Hammer - some vocals but a travel through fantasy and wonderfully arranged.

for some good 80's-

pet shop boys

u2- Irish rockers

duran duran - British new wave/rock.

dream theather -metal

savatage - metal

Billy Idol** british rocker anything by him

Lou Reed - anything

Steve Stevens - did one solo project from teaming with Billy Idol.

Peter Gaberial

Kate Bush**

Bjork

Just to name a few here but there are so many good recording out there in the world of music even in intrumental and the 80's.

I am currently starting the first of the year to add to my cd collection to find more rare and indie bands as well as ambient and stuff from the 80's and 70's and late 60's. I would like to get some world music from inda, spain and france. Just to listen to something different.

For instrumental I like to listen to my Floyd Cramer cd, I have sheet music to this stuff and I'm trying to learn it. It's all piano music.

I saw Puddle of Mudd open for another act before, I liked them alright. Lots of groups have similar music, I guess stuff like Three Days Grace, Trapt, stuff like that. I agree with silvermoon, check out Billy Idol

Godspeed You Black Emporer!
Explosions in the Sky

Godspeed now have a nice side project called a Silver Mount Zion, same style but some lyrics, and Low is also beautiful instrumental with some soft lyrics.
Recently discovered Efterklang and Pelican thats the same sort of style too. All very good bands.
