According to an interview he did he grew up on Elton John and Earth, Wind & Fire and during the seventies Stevie Wonder was his favorite. He's also a fan of Dylan and the Rolling Stones. Pretty solid taste imo.

You dont understand rap and hip hop prolly because you dont have any funk in ya. ya gotta have a little funk. i imagine obama at his inauguration dancing to some zapp or something funky like that
