In my industry (pop film music) the Fray is a shining example of how to get your music on TV.

I saw one of their songs on scrubs and I got an album. I know I shouldn't like them (just how I like Keane), they never take risks but I just like it.

Yeah they have done songs for Lost, Greys Anatomy and a couple of other shows. They really are perfect at what they do.

Whoa, you're in the film industry? Are you a musician or what?

Yeah I'm what they call a "stock musician". Filmmakers request music or buy a song from my library. Its a pretty sweet gig.

I can't imagine anyone thinking Prince could be a "musical secret." His more recent material may not be as classic as some of his best, but he's done enough great music to go down as one of the best makle artists of all time.
