Radiohead
Yes, because Jonny Greenwood is a sexy beast.

The Kinks
Yes, great songwriting to fit great songs.

Not voting on the last two.

Radiohead
Yes. They've made relevant, great music for a decade and a half, showing great versatility in sound while still remaining extremely high quality.

The Kinks
Yes. They created some of the best albums of the 1960s and their influence has been enormous.

The Beach Boys
Yes. Both their early surf pop career and their later sophisticated pop career were extremely influential. They not only influenced the melodic sound of countless bands (the root of the extremely common "sunny harmonies" in pop music), they also influenced the production side of pop music from then on, leading to much more complex, layered approaches.

Public Enemy
Yes. One of the most influential hip-hop groups, they were perhaps the biggest influence in socially aware rap, as rap went from merely a party music form to a conduit to express the experiences of people in difficult situations that many middle-class listeners had no real exposure to.

The Beach Boys - No. Whatever Brian Wilson's innovation and their skill with harmonies, the music doesn't engage me enough to put them through.

Public Enemy - Yes. Arguably the most important rap group ever, Wu-tang gives them a run for their money, but their longevity and stronger discography win out.

I wont vote on the other two because I'm pretty unfamiliar with their stuff.

Beach Boys:
Voted yes in the HOF, but it's a no here not good ENOUGH

Pulic Enemy:

The Beach Boys had more than one great album, Neutral Milk Hotel didn't.

Just felt like pointing that out.

Radiohead - Yes. Consistently pushing the boundaries with every release for a decade. Never afraid to experiment and subvert expectations, they manage to attain a standard rarely matched, and its all on their own terms.

The Kinks - Yes. Ray Davies is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Being English, one has a certain sentimentality with the Kinks because they are your quintessential English band, the lyrics are identifiable. Not to mention at least three superb albums.

The Beach Boys - No. Overrated by an American society desperate for a band to stem the flow of the British invasion. They made a couple of good albums but i dont think theyre good enough for hall of fame status.

Public Enemy. They are culturally important, hugely so i'd say. They also made two of the best hip hop albums of all time. For the impact they had and the quality of their output, i say yes.

I did make sure to say in MY opinion...

Just felt like pointing that out.

Radiohead - Yes I agree with previous statements, they are one of the most innovative groups out there and they continue to experiment and try new things in their music.

The Kinks - Yes As said, they are a really fun band to listen to. They have plenty of great, highly accessible music (that doesn't get boring) that has influenced so many other great acts.

The Beach Boys - No Good band, but they don't do enough for me. For each song I like there's way too many that are just meh.

Public Enemy - No opinion (I have barely heard anything by them - not a hip hop person)

Radiohead - Does it really matter what I chuck here? :p:

The Kinks
Definitely. Great, fun band that everyone should get a solid listen to, not just the hits.

The Beach Boys
No. Just not my thing, and although influencing a popular demographic probably didn't do enough.

Public Enemy
Well they definitely should be... Hellllllllllllllll yeah
