What is "hip" at the moment ??? (electronic, indie)

What I mean by this is what new musical (sub) genre that has come about , in say , the last 2 years that has an incrowd following, probably something I haven't even heard of.

Are you familiar with or informed about any of the latest ideas, styles, developments i.e. are you a hipster ?.If this new genre has fairly large radio airplay I would not consider it "hip".

New rave?? perhaps?? any others??

Oh! another electronica sub-genre.How can you keep up with this stuff.Most of it never gets popular because it morphs so quickly.

Who cares what's hip at the moment? Just listen to whatever music you like

I do it's O.K. - but I was on another forum section & couldn't think of any new styles of music that had started in the last 5 years, apart from maybe some sub-sub genre.
