I hope I didn't because Raising Sand was awful IMO. I couldn't care less who wins between that and Tha Carter III.

Any ideas on what should've won?

In Rainbows, definitely. If not that, then Coldplay, as I can understand the appeal even if I don't like it. Then, much further down the ladder, is Tha Carter III and Raising Sand. Ne-Yo's album is on the very bottom.

Radiohead. Shocking. You know, I'd give radiohead more credit if I didn't create their entire catalouge 6 years ago when I crossed some wires in my computer speakers.

The thing about Raising Sand was that it was an amazing reinterpertation. They took a collection of songs from a different areas and reinvented them to fit a mood. That was some of the best music I've heard last year.

Dense layers of sound =/= random noises.

It's all my dad listens to since he got a hold of it, and I just found it so bland...

Compared to the last thirty-five years of Robert Plant's output it's a fucking gem.

I actually liked Allison Krauss before this; she has a fantastic voice and collaborated on one of my favorite soundtracks ever, O Brother Where Art Thou.

I really have to listen to In Rainbows. I'll never get Coldplay. I'd put Lupe before them. I'm really surprised Wayne got on Best Album but he didn't. They're both great.
