Oh, and I haven't stated my opinion on Blink-182 yet, lol. I used to be obsessed with them, because they DO make really good pop-punk. I didn't like the direction they were taking before the break-up, but I might have just been naive. I'll give their last album another spin. |

In my school MCR isnt as popular as they were two yearsago year when I actually started listening to them. Not so suprising though, the stuff I was referring to is the stuff they listen to.
As for me liking MCR - Iwill say I only listened to them because my only friends that liked music listened to them. I never had a lot of friends up until now. I know I just joined a bandwagon, but it was probably also because someone in the Sims 2 community made an absolutely AMAZING sim video of the song Heleana. Before that I never listened to MCR, started to because of that video/my "friends" I did eventually stop liking them when I realized they were severely over-rated, but there are one or two songs I still like. |

Also to the people who said that didnt care for the direction they went before the break up. I think that is the best release they had. Its so much more mature than the past albums and musically I think its a lot more intriguing. |
Every girl in my all girls school is suddenly a Blink-182 fan...
Every facebook status is OMG BLINKKKK Every 2 minutes theres a myspace bulletin.. "BLINK IS BANK" Its not fun to be immersed in this kinda pop culture. Is it a coincidence that I joined this forum when myspace/facebook were flooded with teenage girls who just wanted to rave about how "OMG AMAZING" blink is? I think not |

Well... their last two albums do nothing for me, listening to Blink's best work is a lot more fun. Coldplay's first two albums... now thats a different story.
