I was never quite on board with Justin's title for his journal, Devil's Dancefloor, just cause it always made me think of the Flogging Molly song of the same name.

Listening to Fitz & The Tantrums - Pickin' Up the Pieces

Unfortunately I can't post links yet. I thought this was such a great album. The follow up was a major disappointment for me. I don't even listen to it now. It doesn't help that I had heard at least half of the follow up live, back when those songs still had the 'Stax Records' sound.

While listening to News 4 You, I'm wondering if the french spoken part of this song is a nod to Serge Gainsbourg.

Nope, it's not new, and nope, I'm not trying to expand my music vocabulary today, but this gets more beautiful every time I listen to it.

I love these raw black metal bands so much, and when they manage to stand above the rest, it's pretty great. This is some muddy and catchy stuff with awesome vocals
