Agreed. Aside from all their more well respected albums and songs, The Beatles also did some great pop tunes and two great pop albums.

Please Please Me and a Hard Day's Night are a couple of the best out-and-out pop albums it's ever been my pleasure to listen to. Some are Beatles' best songs are on the more obscure B-side of the latter too.

Also, sorry if that post came across as a bit twattish - I was whiskeying myself up for a night out at the time!
