WTF, Boris? Why don't you ever do what I expect of you? I've listened to the first few minutes of this album a few times, and with it's reputation as one of the best drone metal albums of all time I expected it to be an actual drone metal album. Not... this. I think Boris gets perverse pleasure out of confounding their listeners. I'm still happy that I didn't have to listen to an entire hour of nothing but Earth worship though.

And TBH, after listening to Flood a few times beforehand, I was only mildly surprised with this one. Weirdos.

Gotta be honest i love that song every bit as much because it has Luther. His voice is like a milkshake made out of silk. His collabs with other people are always so damn good.



I mean Gregory Hines? Who does a duet with a tap dancer and makes it solid gold.
