I've been listening a bunch to T. Rex's "Lady" because I like the overall sound and feeling (and meaning) of it...plus especially the drums. It's too bad Marc Bolan died at age 29 when his girlfriend, who had been drinking, crashed their car into a tree

I really like "Lady" too, Erica - and agree with you about the appeal of the overall sound: I like the leisurely swing pace and drum sound and the way everything takes a slight "dip" at the "I'm gonna give my love to you" part. Marc Bolan's early death was a tragedy.
