I was driving in to work this morning, listening to a local alternative station where they were playing some "flashback 1988" tunes when all of a sudden Joe comes on:

Now, I'm on a Joe binge.

In the Name of Love - Martin Garrix ft. Bebe Rexha

I think it is a great song with a good beat and wonderful lyrics!

Been listening to Hüsker Dü a bit the last week, I'm digging this album particularly. I think I'm going to buy it on vinyl when I have the money.

There's something about close harmony vocals that as a modern listener smack me in the face with a shovel. They're simply one of the most jarring things ever as they are overbearing by nature and immediately date the music to ANY ****ING TIME THAT ISN'T NOW.

But the Louvin Brothers are already awesome and, even if I had to be told this nancy boy **** was country rock, I guess the Everly Brothers made some awesome **** too.
