Gun - Gun (1968)

Power trio doing heavy psyche rock and blues, mixed with random sprinklings of horns and orchestration with late 60's early 70's thick, muddy production.

It's a mess, but not in a chaotic way that makes you think they have no idea what they're doing. More like there is a foundation for something interesting but someone needed to give these guys some boundaries.

That is the best cover I have ever seen.

Batlord is right. Everyone should take five minutes out of their day and list all the ways that you suck and why this album cover doesn't.

David Bowie had long wanted to make a record with a jazz band, and on Jan. 8 of last year, he realized his dream with the release of Blackstar. Two days later, he was gone. Donny McCaslin's band helped him make that record, and now, a year later, we pay tribute to Bowie and Blackstar by bringing McCaslin's band to the Tiny Desk.
