I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I'm not sure what was the first country artist I ever liked, but Uncle Tupelo were definitely one of the very first. I've been lazy about following up on them though, so I'm gonna change that today. No Depression is too good to not follow up on.

And if you like Tupelo then I'd rec Lucero. I just found them, but they sound very much in the same vein (possibly too much) and kinda rule.

Ever since Frown stated how he can't get into Arto Lindsay's solo stuff I can't stop listening to it.
Especially this song. Pop perfection.

^Me too. Stetson in a metal context sounds like a match made in heaven and Greg Fox is one of my favourite drummers.

I'm gonna have to decide whether to buy a Blu-ray player for this release.

If you're into the country side of country rock then Waylon Jennings was the law. He had plenty of softer songs, but when he went hard then god damn was it manly. As much as I love me some alt-country rock ****, the country artists were the ones who really got the country side.
