No matter what I feel towards Dream Theater in general, I will still rep this song and the first half of this album. "As I Am" ****ing rules. This song is a ****ing riff orgy.

Just arrived from Germany - Raymond Scott's Soothing Sounds for Baby Vols 1-3 triple-LP set limited to 1,000 copies on Silver wax. Originally issued in 1962 as three separate volumes, these bizarre albums feature proto-synth music composed using various electronic apparatus of Scott's design from Manhattan Reasearch Inc.

I apologize, I don't have the energy to write a full feature on the set at present. But this is definitely up my alley.

Oh my god, that looks incredible (and somewhat terrifying); I must acquire it.

Seems I'm stuck in Devin Townsend world tonight. If you've not heard this album, ever, get on it right now.

Quote:
All I'll ever think about is you
And you'll be there when we are through.
And all are drinking from our hearts
Of all the love that comes apart
Is all for you or all for 'I'?
I want to wait until we die
You're here afraid yet still you try,
As life for me is life through 'I'
If all for three is all for five
Then we'll have peace until we die
Close your eyes and go to sleep
Close your eyes and go to sleep
