Disc;

A highly interesting mixture of jazz and traditional Japanese music performed by numerous instruments, from shakuhachi, koto, shamishen and taiko to synths and conventional drums, Muraoka's unfamiliar crossover stands as enthralling, smooth and peculiar as the day it was conceived.

^ This is a nice album Ziggy! I was halfway through listening to it (up to the Beatles track), when I was reminded of the following album, in which sitar-player Ananda Shankar mixes up Indian influences with songs like Light My Fire and Jumping Jack Flash.
Warning: this is not an album for purists. When his uncle Ravi Shankar was asked for an opinion about AS, he told the reporter, "Do not speak to me of that man!"
