PrickCommuniqué, Crack and Other people (1995)

Reznor, McMahon and some relics of the Lucky Pierre (80s).

Really enjoying Michael Nyman's 1976 debut recording on Eno's Obscure Records label titled, Decay Music. It's elegantly subdued and sparse. A gentle soundtrack to my quiet Sunday at the office.

Not at all what I was expecting from Genesis P-Orridge but if more 90s indie pop and indie folk sounded something like this I might actually listen to that ****.

I've come to the sad realization that Suicide's debut is cool but doesn't do any justice to how dark, harrowing, raw, and confrontational they were. "Frankie Teardrop" comes the closest but it's still not the best version I've heard. Gimme live Suicide and keep the debut for when I'm in a better place in life. Second album is better tbh.

I mean "Ghost Rider" is great on the debut, but just the way Alan Vega introduces the song on this is the coolest song intro I've ever heard or seen. And the rest of it just gets better. I thought Suicide were cool before but I wasn't expecting to get this sprung. This is Ke$ha sprung.

And no I don't care that I already posted this.
