Minimal wave/minimal synth/coldwave/whatever is the genre I think I'd be head over heels for if I'd just put in the effort to dive in head first but the next day I'm always too lazy. I just need to say **** it and make a week of it.

I honestly don't know the distinctions at all but I get a lot of the same stuff when looking through the genres so I don't bother with figuring out what's what at this point. All I know is that I get good **** from all of them.

minimal synth/etcwave starter pack, Oppenheimer would be a top priority but I guess you know it

Solid Space - Space Museum (that's the best one ever)
Ceramic Hello - The Absence of a Canary
Crash Course in Science - Near Marineland
Ensemble Pittoresque - For This is Past
Lust For Youth - Growing Seeds
Black Marble - A Different Arrangement
Futurisk - Player Piano EP

if you need it to get fuzzier then the label Posh Isolation is a veritable smorgasbord of literally everything in this vein

top Posh samplers include:

The Maritime Trade
Rosehip, Scallop, Dancer
Dokument #1
I Could Go Anywhere But Again I Go With You
