I really ****ing wish we'd gotten a full Suicide album with that earlier, filthy, ugly, wrong Suicide sound that I hear on The First Rehearsal Tapes and some early live stuff. By the time of the debut either they sounded more polished or were made to sound more polished for the sake of being put on a record for mass consumption. But man could they sound ugly and ****ed up back in the day while still letting you know that they were deconstructing pop music. This never made album could have been the true BC/AD split between old pop music and modern pop music.

I don't know, past a couple videos on Youtube from 1977 they seem to sound more like their records afterward. I'm gonna have to do a deep dive I guess. Ugly Suicide is a fetish for me and I don't have enough of it.
