Unassailable modern classic. That said I think his best work is yet to come.

Yeah. I could see a magnum opus. I definitely don’t think he’s at a musical dead end. It’s very tricky with hip hop but with Earl he has foundation that can be built on as opposed to like a party band that doesn’t feel like partying anymore. He’s more into the human experience type stuff and there’s something very promising about him. I did see him live and his low key delivery and absence of any sort of stage antics was intensely effective. Tyler live was the polar opposite but equally fantastic. But with Tyler, Flower Boy and Igor are great but it’s still a more difficult transition.

This track is pretty much what it says on the bottle: kind of dated, bookended by some funky riffs played on the moog, and with a bit of George Benson style guitar in the middle. Not a bad way to start another working day:-
