This is the cornerstone of Carpe Sonum - the label founded to carry on the spirit of FAX +49-69/450464 Records. Everyone is here - from Bill Laswell & Bernie Worrell to F.U.S.E. to Spacetime Continuum, as well as Higher Intelligence Agency, Biosphere, and Oliver Lieb.

The first 4 CDs contain tracks from FAX +49-69/450464 alumni, and the remaining 4 CDs contain tracks from fans. Proceeds from the sale of this release go to Namlook's family.

This is one of 100 copies produced for the second issue of this special edition set.

I've only heard a few tracks but it's Homme + whatever guests he brings into it. Of course it's worth a listen.

It's a great album, but unfortunately the whole album doesn't sound like that. So far it's basically QOTSA with female vocals and some other dudes singing. Not complaining, but if the whole album was like that song, that'd be amazing!
