One of my favorite late 70's/early 80's bands...

One of the best punk albums ever.
And none of you decadent westerners ever heard of those guys. |

Best punk albums? Don't know bout that one. |

Well, I'm not that into punk plus I can enjoy the lyrics and it has a nostalgia bonus for me. |
At first I wasn't sold on The Eminem Show but now I'm totally on board. The Eminem train keeps a-rollin'.

Relapse isn't all good, but Em definitely went far on this record. Just in case you forgot he came from the same city as Esham.

Glad to meet a fellow fan (?). At least it seems to me like you've already known Gr.Ob. Also kudos for posting Ned Rothenberg. One of the most incredible reed players out there. |
This is easily one of the best post-hardcore-ish mathcore type albums I've ever heard, it really blew me away after the first listen and continued to after more listens. It sounds a lot like a heavier and metallic version of the Fall of Troy, plus a whole assload of more experiments, so like FoT combined with TDEP. It was pretty much super sick after one second in and it became a favorite. Among the most original and just all around best of its kind

Even the bonus tracks on Relapse are pretty solid. And Dr. Dre knocked this whole ****ing album out of the park as well. This album has me by the short and curlies like a mu****a.

Some groovy ass jazz and a great show. Recommended for those on the fence about jazz (and jazz fans of course). |

Thank you for sharing, again. |
This one is making me think of Sun Ra...

I think Relapse might be my fave Em album. It might not have quite the personality of his first three albums but the production is a monster and his flow is absolutely relentless and seizes you by the balls from track 1 to the end. I could listen to Eminem rap the phone book if he's flowing at this level.

i really like the rawness of this....i tried looking these guys up and i think i found a match....basically their name translates to Civil Defense and if this is the same band they have been doing this since the mid 80s and have well over 20 studio albums....i was able to check out the one you posted and two others.... This one being my favorite so far thanks for the introduction to a possible new obsession.....20+ albums should be a very interesting discography considering the totally different tags these guys get |

Their four best (and rawest) albums were all released in 1989. Those are: -Здорово и вечно (Zdorovo i vechno) Fine and Eternal -Армагеддон-Попс (Armageddon-pops) Armageddon-pops -Война (Voyna) War -Русское поле экспериментов (Russkoe pole eksperimentov) Russian field of experiments If you like the sound you'll dig all of those about equally. I know I do. |

He has a new album out soon called 'Success' I think. I'd like him to release a 5/5 album with no tunes on it with Rihanna and Bruno Mars.
