I'd never heard Steppenwolf's social consciousness-raising song "Monster" before. The only two songs by Steppenwolf that I remember are their "Magic Carpet Ride" and "Born to be Wild," since these are most commonly played on the radio. I like them when I hear them:
Steppenwolf - "Magic Carpet Ride" This is a good song for people who like dreams. John Kay looks very happy in the video, which is cute to see. And I like the bass player's pantsuit! I always loved my pantsuits. My mom had this slinky rainbow-colored one with bell bottoms that I adored. Why aren't more people wearing pantsuits these days? I must find one. ... Steppenwolf - "Born to be Wild" I don't mind the organ sound in this song. Not *too* much. I definitely like the drummer's floppy hat. And one guy has a fringe jacket! Reminds me fondly of my '70s fake western wear. I guess since I've just been on a motorcycle once (technically twice) in my life, I was only born to be a tiny bit wild.

Korn mixed with some dubstep.
