Who says music made in your kitchen won't sound good?

Get Well Soon - "Teenage FBI" and "Angry Young Man"

Previously in this thread I have lauded the creator of the group Get Well Soon because I like Konstantin Gropper's "Angry Young Men" song and *adore* its video. Every once in a while I try to find another song by him that I enjoy as much. I haven't found any yet, but tonight I listened to "Teenage FBI," which I like because of its sweet guitar and thoughtful lyrics:

Get Well Soon - "Teenage FBI"

Get Well Soon - "Angry Young Man" (My favorite song by him)

I love that Konstantin Gropper (below) looks so UNlike a typical musican (to me), with his non-descript, plump, boyish face and his preference for business suits. His low, slow, mature crooner's voice is always a pleasant surprise to me, too, because it doesn't seem to match his appearance. Also, he's German, and Germans are cool.

That feeling when your speakers are about to explode due to the massive overdriven guitars, when it almost subtly ends on a finger picked acoustic with Pearce just barely audible enough that it's just slightly louder than a whisper. Man.

Reminds me of My Bloody Valentine. Nice!
