Just listened to Noel covering 'To Be Someone' acoustic version though. Not bad either.
I really enjoy Noel Gallaghers acoustic stuff. I've made no secret of the fact I still like Oasis around here but that may very well not be the case if I didn't have so much Noel solo acoustic stuff for when I get bored of all of their albums.

^ One of the countless monikers of the Gaz Cobain/Brian Dougans partnership behind FSOL, Amorphous Androgynous etc. Cobain has his own youtube channel as well, which is pretty cool.

This is ab...so...lute...ly brilliant.
The Who make it look like they're playing in their own living room, they look that comfortable.
Class live epic of 'Won't Get Fooled Again' featuring a more than usually animated Noel Gallagher.
Must see.

Yeah I have that one! Thats from The Who's Live at the Royal Albert Hall DVD. Itr's a really good DVD if you haven't seen it. There are other special guests as well as Noel which are Kelly Jones, Eddie Vedder, Paul Weller and unfortunately Bryan Adams.

I liked the Small Faces cover too. I actually haven't seen or heard that one before.

Check this one out. It was part of the tour Oasis did for the Stop The Clocks Greatest Hits which was a bit of two fingers up to their label for releasing it in the sense that it was a semi acoustic tour playing mostly B sides and stuff that wasnt even on Stop The Clocks. Plus they left Liam at home and it was just Noel, Gem and Terry Kirkbride who was drummer for the short lived Proud Mary.

There's something I like a lot about Noel when he plays solo acoustic type sets.
Maybe I just prefer him when he's in a more reflective mood, rather than having that dick of a brother sneering all over his tunes.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. I like to hear Oasis material played by Noel in his acoustic sets. Theres even Oasis songs I don't like that for some reason sound pretty decent performed that way.

I would really recommend some of the live bootlegs of that semi-acoustic tour. It really seemed like Noel was comfortable being on tour without Liam, he got to play some tracks they don't usually play and he got to tamper with them a little. Even if they were very subtle changes he really just breathed some new life into some old Oasis songs. He even got Wonderwall sounding interesting to me again. I could probably even hook you up as I went a bit crazy with the boots off that tour.
