A truly underrated death metal band. They may not be particularly polished, but they more than make up for it (not that not being an unpolished DM band is anything to make up for) with sheer venom, and the riffs just demand you to bang your ****ing head.

Love me some Moody Blues. I'm starting to build a vinyl collection and picked up Days of Future Passed, On the Threshold of a Dream, and To Our Children's Children's Children last weekend. I was really hoping to find In Search of the Lost Chord, being my favorite and having the best artwork, but didn't find it.

This is one of the first things I jumped to.
I also just won an eBay auction for this and Amnesiac last night, original Parlophone UK releases. One of my favorites and amazing artwork - glad to have the original CD release as well.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

In Search of the Lost Chord has some great songs on it. I can never pick a favorite album of theirs but overall I like the earlier stuff better (: Days of Future Passed is how I got into their music.

Uh right now I'm listening to...

I've only listened to a handful of songs, and I think I may become obsessed. This is Eastern-influenced jazz, led by Billy Bang, a jazz violinist, taking pages from the avant-garde, post-bop, and trad jazz. It's apparently inspired by his time in Vietnam. This is haunting, beautiful stuff, and from what I've heard and read so far, he worked as a sideman for Pharoah Sanders and did his own free jazz work, so I'll be listening to that soon, too. Just... just listen to it, okay?

Nobody seems to remember the Laibach remix of this song. It's just the original song with muddier production, but it makes it sound so ****ing evil. David Vincent's vocals sound like they are coming straight out of the ground having just escaped from hell.

Birds of a feather and so on and so forth.

Anyhow this came on last night when I was on the treadmill and I felt like I could sprint my way through hell and back.

Jaz Colman can really do those low notes well.
